2019-2020 ESE Parent Surveys
The Exceptional Student Education (ESE) parent surveys, designed by the Florida Department of Education (FDOE), are used to determine how well Florida’s schools are assisting and promoting parental involvement in their child’s education. The survey is open to all parents whose children (from preschool through grade 12) receive ESE services through an individual education plan (IEP). This is not for parents whose children are receiving only gifted services through an IEP. As part of the State Performance Plan, Florida is required to collect this data under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). This survey is available from February 1st to May 31st of every year.
